New partnership to help COVID-19 testing for important work and journey | Native-Enterprise | Enterprise
SYDNEY – Nova Scotia Health has reached an agreement with PRAXES Medical Group to support COVID-19 testing for people who need proof that they do not have the COVID-19 virus for work or travel.
The PRAXES group began testing for urgent work-related travel Thursday that requires a negative COVID-19 test before departure.
These tests are also intended for students or migrant workers who need a negative COVID-19 test before returning to their home countries, and for those visiting a vulnerable, sick or elderly relative, attending a funeral, or others for compassionate reasons Attend events.
These tests are not intended for non-essential travel or business purposes, including vacation or business travel when virtual meetings are possible.
To request this service, contact https://praxes.ca/covidtest at least five days prior to travel. Those who have been classified as eligible will receive a link that allows them to book an appointment online within one working day.
Tests are available at the PRAXES Dartmouth location at $ 250 plus HST and will be available in other areas of Nova Scotia at a later date.
