Deal with Memorial Library | Lewiston Solar Journal

LIVERMORE FALLS – Happy New Year from the Treat Memorial Library! Our programming is currently on Facebook. Since this is the time of year to look for indoor activities, we have a new online program for Cabin-Fever Crafts in January every Thursday at 4pm! Break out of boredom, get creative ideas and try something new with us!

We may be inside, but we can still travel around the world with the Armchair Traveler Game, our journey into fantasy every Tuesday at 1 p.m. We’ll give you the start details, you tell us about your fabulous world trips!

Online story time is 10:30 am every Wednesday. Here we share some of our favorite picture books, rhymes, and songs to guide you through these wintry months!

Do you miss rummaging through our stacks and do you need book recommendations? We’ll be recommending some of our favorite books, old and new, with Bonkers for Books on Saturday January 9th and Saturday January 23rd at noon. Take a look to find out what we have available for you here on our shelves!

Our book club discussions have been moved to Zoom. Our next book is The Great Mars Hill Bank Heist by Ron Chase, part of our Maine story series. To join the book club, please contact the library staff for a copy of the book and an email invitation to the Zoom meeting. Our January discussion will take place on Thursday the 14th at 3 p.m.

Please note that the library is closed on New Years Day, Friday 1st January. The library will also close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Tuesday, January 19.
