India’s first Skywalk is right here and you’ll expertise the fun.

If you’ve seen Glass Skywalk in China and many other places and are thinking of planning your visit there, fret as India also has a new Glass Skywalk that is opening.

The glass skywalk was named in Sikkims Pelling and is located opposite the 137-foot statue of Chenrezig in the middle of the magnificent Himalayan mountains.

The Sikkim Skywalk is the first skywalk in India and was built to give you great views of the Himalayan mountains and the Chenrezig statue. The skywalk has stairs that lead to the statue and a prayer wheel on each side.

The glass skywalk allows you to see several thousand feet in the air and see everything down the mountain. The sidewalk is not for the faint of heart and also for people with dizziness.

If you want to take a stroll on this glass skywalk, it’s 2.5 km from Pelling and costs around INR 50 per tourist. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., all you have to do is hold onto the railing and leave. Even if you walk over it, your heart will beat faster and you can take a picture here. In addition to a beautiful view of the Himalayas, you can also see the majestic Teesta and Rangit rivers nearby.
