New Youngsters’s E book Educates Readers on Black Historical past

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – A North Carolina writer wants to educate young readers about lesser known moments in black history.

“The stories of Camelia B.” plays an adventurous 10 year old African American girl and her diverse group of friends who travel back in time and explore history.

The author, Sakari Milan, said the goal is to help children understand and even appreciate their differences.

“The Tales of Camelia B.” will highlight and bring to light all the deleted, altered and hidden stories in history, “said Milan.” So that children can be fully enlightened and empowered by the great contributions blacks have made around the world.

Milan’s goal is to bring the K-5 student book series into the classroom. It’s available now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
