Guest security
Spirit’s commitment to safe travel encompasses a multi-faceted approach to safety that requires all guests and team members to wear face covers. Each guest agrees to this policy as part of a health and safety certification prior to boarding the aircraft. Every aircraft in our Fit Fleet® uses state-of-the-art HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Air) filters that capture 99.97% of particles and filter the air for contaminants every 2 to 3 minutes.

Between each flight, improved cabin cleaning practices focus on high-contact areas such as tray tables and armrests. Spirit also uses two EPA registered mist treatments. The first uses a safe, high quality disinfectant that is effective against coronavirus. The second uses an antimicrobial product that creates an invisible barrier on all surfaces that kills bacteria and viruses on contact for 30 days.
